Fed us all weekend. with a little breakfast help from leftover wholesome flax pancake mix and soymilk from the 97cents store.

Now I have two bags of brown rice and one bag of barley and man we should be able to eat all through fall until our Departure in December.

I'm also out of reading material; again. Brought up 3 old girlie novellas from home and one of my massage coursework textbooks, Staying Healthy With the Seasons..... since I need it with me to help us thru this frigid Autumn and then our Transition to California and Winter.

its like we're gonna store up all this heat and food and then be plopped onto the sandy beach con el sol above our cabesas and not need it.. oh well, WAY WAY better than suffering further chilliness of the hellish Pacific Northwest ((NEAR Alaska and Canada, duh!, its gonna get cold).

end of summer update

bebe Mackinze in her new tANK (the filter made the taNK dusty at first but then it cleared up)



This is her new basking spot Logan set up for her with two heavy logs. She BURROWS and pushes things around in her cage and uproots plants so we had to find something that worked... and that new log is super heavy and works perfect, she cant move it!



We thought she was already super super friendly but recently she has become SUPER SUPER FRIENDLY with us lately.. when we put our hands in the water she tries to climb up on them to get out and play with us. and she often says hellow from her cage as in poking her head out of the water and basically trying to CLIMB OUT OF HER CAGE to play with us. funny funny. anyway, here is Mackenzie sitting on Logans hand.

Nicole Marie Brown

i dont have many pictures of my cousin Nicole & I together.

but one that comes to mind most vividly is one of my all-time favourite pictures. i will find it someday. its in my moms garage or something.

its jonathan, me & nicole at the zoo. we had amazing smiles on our faces and i love the memories i have of our times at the zoo. we went a lot all together especially with austin as a baby. theres pictures with baby austin in them too. super cute. i need to consolidate all my old pictures and copy and give all the ones with nicole in them to aunt chris uncle louie and austin.

she left us forever changed.

so yeah, i guess i just dont deal with things very well so i put them to the back of my mind. because this is like the first posting about my late cousin. we grew up together in the same city went to the same school for a while and were the closest in age out of all the cousins.

she left me changed in ways I never thought i would reach. the whole family values and goodie twoshoes love and all that stuff of the moral fibre.

she also taught us to GIGGLE. a lot.

second day sunbathing... and im a lobster. one hour. just laying on my stomach. lost track of time reading. sun was too hot overhead.. like 2-3pm. usually i go 1-2..... just like my mom afterall



AND THIS,,, this always happens to me when i wear shorts around in summer..

first week of 60degree+ weather

... in seattle!! in May (1, '08)... which is miraculous since our last snow days were last weekends of March and April(!!!)...

this was the beginning of my smile...
