Alcohol Math - how people drink a Gallon

So I was doing some Math, just for the heck of it. I made friends with Mr. Gallon (Love learning tools with a face!).
Actually, I heard a TV show profile a person with alcohol addiction that was drinking up to a gallon a day. Which made me think -- wait, just how much is that guy drinking??!
Well, I thought back to my own drunken daze of PBR beer cans - theres the usual 12 ounces. Then you got your frosty 16 oz Pint glass served at a bar. You also have the 24oz cans that you go to the gas stations for.
I quickly realized that drinking 1 gallon of alcohol is a hell of a lot easier than I initially thought.
At least according to the typical college student / young persons standard. Lets do the math.
drink 5 normal (12oz) beer cans = 1/2 gallon. Drink 10 of these beers, you got your 1-Gallon! OR
Drink 8 of those frosty Pints (16oz) and you have 1-Gallon
Just 5 of those "Tall Boys" 24oz will get you to the 1-Gallon.

How Car Insurance Companies Screw Good People Over
I do not like to spread around Negativity, but I am so disappointed with how we, the victims, have been treating by our Car Insurance (GEICO, who up 'till now had good customer service), and all the others included in this Car Accident Mess.
The reason we have insurance is so that when theres an accident, they fix the damages made to the CAR and the PEOPLE. In our case, both were damaged. (I have not had ONE, NOT 1, day without pain since the accident).
I guess thats what Lawyers are for, oh but not for the poor people (and the ones who take money afterwards, they only accept cases they think will bring in the big bucks).
We have been PUT THROUGH THE WRINGER on so many levels. Not only was I debilitated after the accident, but I had to politely argue my case to these jerks while in pain. They added SOO MUCH STRESS to my life (which makes my Whiplash worse!!), and I used up ALL my cell phone minutes just to try and take care of something that should be simple.
Fix the damages to me and my car. but no, they have to be completely horrible mean and inconsiderate.
I am so disappointed in this world and humanity and MOSTLY companies/businesses. They have PERFECT Customer Service UNTIL you actually NEED something from them, and then they don't want to give you a penny. Even though these companies are making millions of dollars.
Maybe they are used to dealing with other evil human beings who try to "take them for all their worth" by lying and cheating.
I am a good person, I was a victim and they are throwing me under the bus.
Thanks a lot Geico. and Enterprise. and Bill Luke Dodge.

Purify thyself
After I graduated highschool, I buzzed my hair as I started on my new path.

Five years later, I decided it was time to become more dedicated to my path. I didnt go half-ass on it like when I was 18. nope, I'm 23 now. I shaved it all the way down.

And you know what? I LOVE IT

As one Door Closes, another Opens
I attended my Group Fitness Module Training the last weekend of March 2010. It was for the world-wide renowned Medically based Les Mills fitness program BODYFLOW.
www.LesMills.com/Rcherie
I started team-teaching by Shadowing and then teaching a few songs here and there, then half the class, then the ENTIRE HOUR class. I videotaped and sent in my video for my final grade and passing certification in the mail. I have been since teaching the full class for some time now. Alas, the door that closed was Chambers Integrated Health in Glendale/Phoenix Arizona. it literally just closed a couple days ago. The economy has forced other business owners in the area to do the same (especially the others who shared our building). Our owners/Operators/Staff/Members put Everything into the development of our Second Home. And now it is gone. there will always be more gyms. There will never ever ever ever ever be another ChamBo Wellness Center. nobody could amount the high order of amazingness we served up there.
hopefully the next door that opens includes BODYFLOW since I love LOVE love it so.

the Return of Words
I am SOOOO Proud of my Mom. She is in Wash DC right now. bringing her perspective to the Movers & Shakers on Cap Hill. Bringing Awareness to Human Trafficking - In America. Some random person spoke with her in AZ and asked her where she was studying Human Trafficking - what country, he asked. She replied: "Right Here, USA". He was so shocked. He didn't know that happened HERE.
now Im filling up water dishes twice a day, bleaching litter boxes, and supplementing dry food diets with liquid food a la syringe. it reminds me of when they were just born - but they are more of a fighter now theyre older. hahaha.
With Each and Every Moment, Cultivating Respect and Thankfulness for my wonderfully-awesome mother.
I still miss Buttercup. I think since she's been gone Snuppy has allowed me to snuggle him more. I think all the cats have allowed us to give them ''buttercup love''. She was the only cat who MELTED into you for HOURS on end. HOURS.
Love Love Love Love.
Logan just turned 25. I hope I helped make it a HAPPY turning point in his/our LIVES. We both tend to get depressed around our birthdays (I do it every year, still working on that), I think because we want to have achieved SO MUCH MORE at certain ages and we feel a weight, depressed by our lack of being able to reach our goals. and we're like, damn, we are this old and we havent done this yet.... We need to LIVE IN THE MOMENT and LET GO of our expectations for the outcome. We need to just let go. put less pressure on ourselves. we can't do it all. And look at all we have done!!
I think we changed this pattern//// it was starting, but then literally starting 11:58PM 5/21/10, 2mins prior to his birthDAY, we were DANCING and YELLING SINGING in his birthday with friends and a banjo. happy to be ALIVE. we did catch up on sleep... and then I made him BREAKFAST in bed (healthy pancakes w/ spices, HUGE blueberries, and walnuts)... we slept through lunch... I made us dinner... Sashimi Grade Wild Japanese Caught Scallops with Baby Bok Choy. MY first time cooking that stuff. did with steam / saute and sesame seeds. oh yeah, Artichoke appetizer. his fav. need to cook better next time though. haha.
Love Love Love Love Love LIFE!!!!!!
Like I told Logan yesterday:::: "THIS" is always available to you. Happiness is ALWAYS available to you. It is ALWAYS within YOUR REACH. you just have to make the Choice to EMPOWER yourself and GRAB IT.
When I dance with Mackenzie through the aquarium, I know its gonna be a good day.
Leaving you with these Biggie Smalls Lyrics that went through our heads last night during Logans Birthday. Tori singsong it poolside.
"Juicy"
[Intro:]
(Fuck all you hoes) Get a grip motherfucker.
Yeah, this album is dedicated to all the teachers that told me
I'd never amount to nothin', to all the people that lived above the
buildings that I was hustlin' in front of that called the police on
me when I was just tryin' to make some money to feed my daughters,
and all the niggaz in the struggle, you know what I'm sayin'?
Uh-ha, it's all good baby bay-bee, uh
[Verse One:]
It was all a dream
I used to read Word Up magazine
Salt'n'Pepa and Heavy D up in the limousine
Hangin' pictures on my wall
Every Saturday Rap Attack, Mr. Magic, Marley Marl
I let my tape rock 'til my tape popped
Smokin' weed and bamboo, sippin' on private stock
Way back, when I had the red and black lumberjack
With the hat to match
Remember Rappin' Duke, duh-ha, duh-ha
You never thought that hip hop would take it this far
Now I'm in the limelight 'cause I rhyme tight
Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade
Born sinner, the opposite of a winner
Remember when I used to eat sardines for dinner
Peace to Ron G, Brucey B, Kid Capri
Funkmaster Flex, Lovebug Starsky
I'm blowin' up like you thought I would
Call the crib, same number same hood
It's all good
Uh, and if you don't know, now you know, nigga, uh
[Chorus:]
You know very well who you are
Don't let em hold you down, reach for the stars
You had a goal, but not that many
'cause you're the only one I'll give you good and plenty
[Verse Two:]
I made the change from a common thief
To up close and personal with Robin Leach
And I'm far from cheap, I smoke skunk with my peeps all day
Spread love, it's the Brooklyn way
The Moet and Alize keep me pissy
Girls used to diss me
Now they write letters 'cause they miss me
I never thought it could happen, this rappin' stuff
I was too used to packin' gats and stuff
Now honies play me close like butter played toast
From the Mississippi down to the east coast
Condos in Queens, indo for weeks
Sold out seats to hear Biggie Smalls speak
Livin' life without fear
Puttin' 5 karats in my baby girl's ears
Lunches, brunches, interviews by the pool
Considered a fool 'cause I dropped out of high school
Stereotypes of a black male misunderstood
And it's still all good
Uh...and if you don't know, now you know, nigga
[Verse Three:]
Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis
When I was dead broke, man I couldn't picture this
50 inch screen, money green leather sofa
Got two rides, a limousine with a chauffeur
Phone bill about two G's flat
No need to worry, my accountant handles that
And my whole crew is loungin'
Celebratin' every day, no more public housin'
Thinkin' back on my one-room shack
Now my mom pimps a Ac' with minks on her back
And she loves to show me off, of course
Smiles every time my face is up in The Source
We used to fuss when the landlord dissed us
No heat, wonder why Christmas missed us
Birthdays was the worst days
Now we sip champagne when we thirst-ay
Uh, damn right I like the life I live
'Cause I went from negative to positive
And it's all...
(It's all good)
...and if you don't know, now you know, nigga, uh
Uh, uh...and if you don't know, now you know, nigga
Uh...and if you don't know, now you know, nigga, uh
Representin' B-Town in the house, Junior Mafia, mad flavor, uh
Uh, yeah, a-ight
